Cape Mendicino Rockfish Day

The ocean swells and south wind made it a difficult day for fishing at Cape Mendocino yesterday. However, seasoned fishermen from Susanville, California, were able to cope with the less-than-desireable conditions to enjoy the day and bring home twenty-five rockfish and one nice lingcod. Pictured (from left to right) are Marcus Loll, Garrett Prater, and Matt Flores. All fishermen stated that they are planning on a return trip to target halibut, salmon, or albacore this summer.
